Painting Pottery

Although the crowd at the CeramiCafe is often small children, it is great fun at any age.

First stop is the wall.

There are unicorns and gnomes and pigs and princesses.

But don't let that deter you.

Because for every frog there is a platter or plate or cup or mug.

The next wall features squeeze bottles of paint (with examples of how each color looks after the pottery is fired). There are palettes, brushes of all shapes and sizes, Q-tips, paper towels and even pencils if you want to sketch your design before you start.

Sit down at a table and follow your muse.

Three hours went by.

Just that fast.

Before we turned in our finished pieces.

Can't wait to see what they look like out of the kiln!
