Along Camino del Mar, this Peruvian restaurant is charming.
For lunch, two of us split the Pan con Chicharron, a sandwich made of braised pork, roasted yams, salsa criolla (finely sliced red onion, aji, cilantro and lime juice) and spicy aji aioli on a toasted ciabatta.
Honestly, can't remember when I had such an unusual combination that was so tasty.
Absolutely delicious, served with dressed greens, sweet potato and plantain chips.
Must come back and check out their ceviche bar.
And empanadas!
Nearby table. All the sandwiches are hearty. |
Dining is outside, with options - covered, umbrella or trellis with blooming bougainvillea. |
Looks so good! I am jealous. :)
