Armistice Day

Marked the end of World War One.

“In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row…..“

The poppy is worn to remember the sacrifices made in times of war.

Passerby wearing a poppy on his lapel.

It seems that every other person on the street is wearing a poppy and have been during the month of November.

On Sunday night, that even included Simon Cowell and the other judges on the talent show, The X Factor.
